Consignment Agreement
The Consignor hereby attests that all of the follow conditions of consigning with Encore Decor.
Preview
Please bring, or email, a photograph to Encore Decor for preview. Include all contact information, i.e., name, telephone number and a brief description of the item including size, age, purchase price, and, if known, manufacturer, and where the item was purchased.
If we feel that your item is something we might be able to sell at Encore Decor, pricing will be set by Encore Decor with the assistance of the consignor based on quality, demand, condition, and manufacturer. We share your desire to get the best possible price for you item.
Encore Decor reserves the right to refuse any item that we do not feel will sell. Our goal is to maintain an up scale environment to help on obtaining the best price possible for your merchandise.
After your item sells, you will receive 50% of the selling price, excluding tax. Checks will be issued on the 10th of the month following the month your item is sold.
After 120 days, if your items have not sold, Encore Decor reserves the right to have the item either picked up or donated. These decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
Customer and Consignor Privacy
Any information given that you do not want disclosed will be kept private at your request.
All Sales Final
Due to the nature of our business, all sales are final, no refunds, exchanges or store credit.
Appraisals
We do not perform appraisals, so please seek the opinion of an expert if you have a unique item as it may be necessary for you to find the current value of a like item.
Liability
Encore Decor assumes no liability for the loss, damage to, or destruction of any item left for consignment. All items remain your personal property until actually sold.
